Orioles' Kyle Brnovich: Undergoes Tommy John surgery

Brnovich (elbow) underwent successful Tommy John surgery Wednesday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Brnovich landed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Norfolk on April 20 with a sprained right elbow, and he was apparently diagnosed with a torn UCL as he was evaluated further. The 24-year-old will miss the rest of the season and should also miss the first half of 2023.
