Orioles' Phoenix Sanders: Clears waivers

Sanders was outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

He'll remain in Baltimore's organization upon clearing waivers after the Orioles designated him for assignment Saturday. The Orioles previously claimed Sanders off waivers from the Rays on Aug. 24, but he pitched exclusively at Triple-A Norfolk before losing his spot on the 40-man roster.
