Padres' Jose Castillo: Promoted from Triple-A

Castillo was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Saturday.

He opened the year at Double-A and received a promotion recently to Triple-A, where he allowed one earned run in 7.1 innings while striking out seven over six appearances. Castillo could gradually earn mid-to-high-leverage opportunities, but he should initially work in the middle innings.
