Padres' Michel Baez: Joins big-league bullpen

Baez was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Friday.

Baez has a 3.31 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 24 strikeouts in 16.1 innings over his last 14 appearances in the minors. He may get sent back to Triple-A when Nick Martinez is activated from the paternity list in a few days.
