Phillies' Aramis Garcia: Inks NRI deal with Philly

Garcia signed a minor-league contract Thursday with the Phillies that includes an invitation to major-league spring training.

Garcia figures to open the 2023 season at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, as J.T. Realmuto and Garrett Stubbs are currently locked in as the big-league catchers for Philadelphia. Garcia, 30, holds a .216/.253/.332 career batting line at the MLB level.
