Phoenix Sanders: Cut by San Francisco

The Giants released Sanders on Friday.

Sanders reached the big leagues for the first time last season as a member of the Rays and made eight appearances, but he's now been cut by two organizations while pitching exclusively at the Triple-A level. Between stops with the Orioles' and Giants' top affiliates, Sanders has accrued a 5.79 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 23.1 innings.
