The Pirates acquired Walker from the Mets on Tuesday in exchange for left-hander Nicolas Carreno, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Walker had been designated for assignment last week and has quickly landed in a new organization. The left-handed reliever holds a career 6.45 ERA over 22.1 innings at the major-league level. He'll likely report to the Pirates' Triple-A affiliate in Indianapolis.
