Rangers' Nick Gardewine: Returns to Rangers on minors deal

Gardewine (undisclosed) returned to the Rangers on a two-year minor-league contract Wednesday.

Gardewine had been on the 7-day injured list with the Rangers before being designated for assignment and subsequently released. He's apparently found a new arrangement with the team, though it remains to be seen when he's ready to pitch again.
