Rangers' Nick Gardewine: Sent packing by Texas

The Rangers released Gardewine on Monday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Of the 37 players on minor-league contracts cut loose by Texas, Gardewine was one of only a few names with big-league service time. He made 15 appearances out of the Rangers bullpen between the 2017 and 2018 season, logging a 4.85 ERA and 1.85 WHIP in 13 frames.
