Rays' Josh Lowe: Contributes in debut

Lowe went 1-for-1 with a walk and a stolen base in his big-league debut Wednesday against the Red Sox.

Lowe, who batted eighth and got the start in right field, walked and stole second in the third inning before pocketing his first career hit with an infield single in the fifth. He was removed for pinch-hitter Yandy Diaz prior to his next plate appearance. Lowe was recalled from Triple-A Durham earlier in the day after Randy Arozarena (personal) was placed on the paternity list, so it could be a brief stint with the big club if Lowe is once again the corresponding roster move upon Arozarena's return.
