The Red Sox have selected Anderson with the 83rd overall pick in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft.
A switch-hitting shortstop out of North Atlanta High School, Anderson hits better from the left side but has a balanced swing with strong power potential. The 18-year-old is athletic enough to remain at shortstop, but a shift to the hot corner could also be in store given his strong arm.
