Reds' Scott Heineman: Outrighted to Triple-A

Heineman cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday.

Heineman was designated for assignment by Cincinnati on Monday, but he'll remain in the organization after going unclaimed on waivers. The 28-year-old had a lackluster .100/.206/.300 slash line with two home runs, five runs and three RBI in 19 major-league games this year, but he could rejoin the Reds as outfield depth at some point.
