Rockies' Gerardo Parra: Strains quad Tuesday

Parra exited Tuesday's game against the Indians early with a right quad strain.

Parra suffered the quad strain while attempting to swipe a bag in the third inning. The severity of the strain isn't known, but it sounds like the veteran outfielder will soon be making a trip to the 10-day disabled list.
