Royals' John Gant: Gets MiLB deal from Royals

The Royals signed Gant to a minor-league contract Wednesday.

Gant had been pitching with the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League. The 32-year-old has not made an appearance at the major-league level since 2021 and is merely organizational depth for the Royals.
