Zimmer pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to Baltimore.
Since he returned from neck spasms Aug. 23, Zimmer has logged 4.1 innings. He's allowed two runs on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts in that span. The right-hander was working in a high-leverage spots prior to the injury, but he's taken a less prominent role lately with no decisions, saves or holds since July 27. He has a 4.76 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 43:27 K:BB with two saves, 10 holds, one blown save and a 4-1 record in 45.1 innings this year.
