Royals' Zach Davies: Headed to Kansas City

Davies signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Monday.

Davies will report to Triple-A Omaha where he figures to serve as starting pitching depth. He made 18 starts for Arizona a season ago, accruing a 7.00 ERA and 1.66 WHIP with 72 strikeouts over 82.1 innings.
