Travis Snider: Released by D-backs

Snider was released by the Diamondbacks on Friday, JJ Cooper of Baseball America reports.

The 32-year-old journeyman was attempting to make it back to the majors for the first time since 2015. A first-round pick in 2006, Snider has a career .244/.311/.399 slash line.
