Terry signed a minor-league contract with the Twins in late November and reported to Minnesota's big-league camp Sunday as a non-roster invitee, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Terry reached the majors with Texas for the first time in his career in 2021, appearing in 13 games while going 4-for-45 (.089 average) with two doubles. Despite his poor results in his small sample of big-league action, Terry showed intriguing power at various stops in the minors, and that was enough for the Twins to take a flier on him as a minor-league free agent. He's expected to open the season at Triple-A St. Paul.
