Melotakis said Friday that he "felt fine" after throwing live batting practice on Thursday, Mike Beradino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Melotakis has been recovering from a right oblique injury that he reported to camp with back in mid-February. Considering that he was able to get through a live batting practice session without any setbacks, it appears he is now day-to-day with a return now on the horizon.
