Wandisson Charles: Cut by O's

The Orioles released Charles on Thursday, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports.

Charles has struggled mightily in the minor leagues this season, posting an 8.60 ERA and 2.18 WHP through 30.1 total innings between Double-A Bowie and Triple-A Norfolk. He'll now attempt to find another opportunity elsewhere, though the 27-year-old righty doesn't seem close to making his MLB debut.
