White Sox's Brady Lail: Contract purchased by White Sox

Lail's contract was selected by the White Sox on Tuesday.

Lail will take the roster spot that had belonged to Carlos Rodon (shoulder), who landed on the injured list in a corresponding move. He's been almost exclusively a reliever over the last two seasons, though, so he won't be taking Rodon's place in the rotation and will be presumably ticketed for low-leverage work.
