White Sox's Marco Hernandez: Gets minors deal with White Sox

Hernandez signed a minor-league contract with the White Sox on Thursday that includes an invitation to spring training.

Hernandez has appeared in 122 games at the highest level, all with the Red Sox, but he hasn't made much of an impression, hitting .265/.300/.342. He failed to make the team's 40-man roster at any point last season.
