Yankees' Alexander Vizcaino: Shielded from Rule 5 draft

Vizcaino was added to the Yankees' 40-man roster Friday.

Vizcaino spent the 2020 season at the Yankees' alternate training site, and he'll remain with the organization since his addition to the 40-man roster will protect him from the Rule 5 draft. The right-hander pitched 119.2 innings in 2019, recording a 4.51 ERA with 133 strikeouts.
