The Brewers released Hernandez on July 30.
Hernandez saw action in 14 games at the big-league level with the Dodgers in 2023, but he never reached the majors during his time with the Brewers after joining Milwaukee on a minor-league deal over the winter. The 26-year-old infielder will now look for work elsewhere after putting together a .242/.335/.311 slash line with two home runs and 13 stolen bases over 317 plate appearances with Triple-A Nashville this season.
