  • Richards (5-1) earned the win in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Angels after tossing two scoreless innings, walking one and fanning two. Richards was charged with his first loss of the season July 26 against the Red Sox, but he has been excellent since then and has tossed five straight scoreless appearances, giving up just two hits across 6.1 innings in that span. In fact, Richards has allowed just three runs across 14 innings (12 appearances) since the beginning of July and owns a 1.93 ERA with a 19:5 K:BB in that span.
