Henry Davis C | PIT
Pirates' Henry Davis: Ceding work to Flores
Davis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
After making four straight starts behind the plate from Aug. 8 through Aug. 12, Davis appears to have fallen into a timeshare with Rafael Flores. Davis has started on consecutive days just once over the past 10 games, with Flores' hot bat earning him more opportunities behind the plate as well as at first base on his non-catching days.

Alfredo Duno C | CIN
Reds' Alfredo Duno: On IL at Double-A
Double-A Chattanooga placed Duno on the 7-day injured list Aug. 4 due to a hamstring injury.
The 20-year-old backstop logged a .288/.397/.500 slash line with three home runs and a 16.7 percent strikeout rate in 18 games for the Lookouts before landing on the shelf.

Miguel Amaya C | CHC
Cubs' Miguel Amaya: Ceding work to Kelly
Amaya is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.
Amaya finds himself on the bench for the third time in four games while the Cubs' timeshare at catcher has tilted more in favor of Carson Kelly of late. Since tying a season high with three RBI in an Aug. 9 win over the Royals, Amaya has gone 2-for-16 with a solo home run and a 2:6 BB:K in his subsequent six games.

Carson Kelly C | CHC
Cubs' Carson Kelly: Drawing third start in four games
Kelly will start at catcher and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Mariners.
The Cubs' timeshare at catcher has been tilting in favor of Kelly lately; he'll pick up his third start Sunday in the last four games. Thus far in August, Kelly has produced a .689 OPS, 60 points ahead of Miguel Amaya's mark on the month.

Brett Sullivan C | COL
Rockies' Brett Sullivan: Filling in for injured Goodman
Sullivan will start at catcher and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Guardians.
Sullivan has handled a hefty workload of late, starting behind the dish in all but two of the Rockies' 10 games since Aug. 12 while All-Star backstop Hunter Goodman (shoulder) has been out of commission. Though Sullivan has popped two home runs, driven in seven runs and scored five times during that span, his fantasy utility will likely take a hit during the upcoming week, when the Rockies will leave the favorable confines of Coors Field and play seven straight road games.
-
Patrick Bailey C | CLE
Guardians' Patrick Bailey: Sitting Sunday
Bailey is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Bailey will be rested after starting the previous three contests. Austin Hedges will handle catching duties for the series finale in Colorado.

Logan O'Hoppe DH | TEX
Rangers' Logan O'Hoppe: Recalled, serving as DH on Sunday
The Rangers recalled O'Hoppe from Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday. He'll start at designated hitter and bat seventh in the series finale versus the Angels.
O'Hoppe will be making his Rangers debut against his former Angels squad, after he was traded in late July and subsequently optioned to Round Rock, where he slashed .292/.386/.556 with three home runs over 84 plate appearances. Though he'll serve as the DH on Sunday, he's not expected to be anything more than a short-side platoon option at that spot. O'Hoppe will primarily be vying with Danny Jansen for playing time behind the dish.

Yainer Diaz C | HOU
Astros' Yainer Diaz: Resting Sunday
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Diaz will head to the bench after starting the first two contests of the series. Christian Vazquez will handle catching duties in the finale.

Carter Jensen C | KC
Royals' Carter Jensen: Idle Sunday
Jensen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.
Jensen will receive the afternoon off with the Tigers scheduled to deploy a left-handed primary pitcher in Andrew Sears. Luke Maile will handle catching duties for Kansas City on Sunday.
