  • Roman Anthony LF | BOS

Red Sox's Roman Anthony: Rehab moves to Triple-A

Anthony (finger) went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run for Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday.

Anthony's rehab assignment moved south from Double-A Portland, and he played his first game in Triple-A. Just as Anthony homered in his first game in Portland, he did it again for Worcester. He played all nine innings in left field and looks ready to return. A recent report suggested he could be activated ahead of an important four-game series against the Yankees in New York beginning Friday. Boston interim manager Chad Tracy told Ian Browne of MLB.com earlier this week that he "wouldn't completely rule out" Anthony returning Friday.

  • Sam Antonacci LF | CHW

White Sox's Sam Antonacci: Scores three times

Antonacci went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a triple, an RBI and three runs scored Tuesday against the Rangers.

Antonacci stuffed the stat sheet, and he led off the game with a double before coming around to score. Four frames later, he tripled in a run to account for his first extra-base hit in his last nine starts. Antonacci went just 3-for-29 in that span, so this was a needed performance to break out of the brief slump.

  • Tristan Peters CF | CHW

White Sox's Tristan Peters: Homers in fourth consecutive game

Peters went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double, two walks, three RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 11-7 win over the Rangers.

Peters reached base a career-high five times during a huge night at the plate. He got started with a two-run double in his first plate appearance and later launched a solo homer off Peyton Gray. Peters has been swinging a hot bat recently, homering in each of his last four games and batting .395 over his last 12. Through 127 contests this season, he owns an .802 OPS with 11 homers, 26 doubles, three triples, 50 RBI, 51 runs scored and seven stolen bases.

  • Byron Buxton CF | MIN

Twins' Byron Buxton: Exits early Tuesday

Buxton was removed from Tuesday's game against the Athletics with an apparent injury, Audra Martin of Twins.tv reports.

Buxton wasn't able to reach down to get his glove on a ball hit into right-center field in the seventh inning, and he looked to be grabbing at his right hip after the play -- the same hip that caused him to miss multiple weeks earlier this month. The Twins will take a closer look at him to determine the severity of his latest injury, and an update on his status may be available after the game.

  • Cody Bellinger LF | NYY

Yankees' Cody Bellinger: Smacks first homer since IL return

Bellinger went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's 9-7 loss to Houston.

Bellinger got the Yankees on the board with a three-run long ball off Ethan Pecko in the third inning to give New York a 3-2 lead. It was Bellinger's first home run since being activated from the IL on Sunday and extended his hit streak to eight games, dating back to July 19 against the Dodgers. He has a .346 batting average (18-for-52) over his last 14 outings with one home run and six RBI.

  • Daulton Varsho CF | HOU

Astros' Daulton Varsho: Drives in two runs Tuesday

Varsho went 2-for-5 with two RBI during the Astros' 9-7 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Varsho gave the Astros an early 2-0 lead with an RBI single in the third before driving in another run in the fifth. It was the sixth multi-RBI game of the season for the veteran center fielder and second as a member of the Astros. Varsho is in the midst of a five-game hitting streak, having gone7-for-22 (.318) with three RBI and three extra-base hits in that span.

  • Nathan Lukes RF | TOR

Blue Jays' Nathan Lukes: Costly blunder on late two-run single

Lukes went 2-for-4 with a two-run single during the Blue Jays' 5-3 loss to the Royals on Tuesday.

Down four runs, the Blue Jays attempted a late rally in the ninth inning. With two men on base with two outs, Lukes found the gap in left-center field to bring home both Daz Cameron and Brett Bateman, but the inning ended when Lukes was tagged at second base while attempting to stretch a single into a double. Lukes has driven in at least one run in four of his last five games, going 5-for-18 (.278) with two home runs and six RBI in that span.

  • Angels' Gustavo Campero: Pulled with leg injury

Campero was removed from Tuesday's game against the Guardians with right hamstring tightness.

Campero came up limping after advancing to second base on a wild pitch in the second inning and was immediately lifted in favor of a pinch runner. He'll likely undergo imaging to determine whether he suffered a strain, and Jose Siri could be in line for more playing time in the near future if Campero needs to miss additional games.

  • Max Clark CF | DET

Tigers' Max Clark: Goes deep in win Tuesday

Clark went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Rays.

Clark hit his second MLB home run and first at home in the fifth inning as the Tigers scored three times to erase a 1-0 deficit. The rookie outfielder has been scuffling a bit lately, as he came into Tuesday's contest having gone just 1-for-12 across his previous four games, but Detroit is incentivized to keep giving him regular playing time. Clark's prospect pedigree suggests he'll figure things out quickly in the majors and develop into a strong fantasy asset.

  • Chase DeLauter RF | CLE

Guardians' Chase DeLauter: Remains out Tuesday

DeLauter (hamstring) is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Angels, per Tim Stebbins of MLB.com.

DeLauter will miss his second consecutive game with left hamstring tightness. The 24-year-old was forced to miss three games last week against the Giants due to a similar issue. Jo Adell will move over to right field and bat cleanup for Cleveland on Tuesday.
