The Mets are expected to non-tender Young (elbow), Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Young gave up four earned runs over 8.1 innings with the Mets in 2025 before undergoing Tommy John surgery in May, which will likely keep him out through the first half of the 2026 season. The 31-year-old will become a free agent once the transaction is official.

Atlanta signed Thomas (elbow) to a minor-league contract Nov. 6.

A Rule 5 pick of the Brewers last offseason, Thomas made just two appearances for Milwaukee before eventually undergoing internal brace surgery on his left elbow in July. The lefty will be sidelined at least until around midseason next year.

Iglesias signed a one-year, $16 million contract with Atlanta on Wednesday.

After posting a 3.21 ERA and 1.00 WHIP across 67.1 innings and recording 29 saves in 2025, Iglesias will officially return for a fifth season in Atlanta. He figures to remain the team's primary closer in 2026, and although he got off to a rough start this year, his reliability shouldn't be much of a concern to fantasy managers, as he turned in a 1.96 ERA and 0.83 WHIP alongside a 51:12 K:BB after the beginning of June.

Atlanta acquired Rolison from the Rockies on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations.

Rolison had been removed from the Rockies' 40-man roster Tuesday and is now headed to a new organization. The left-hander held an ugly 7.02 ERA and 25:20 K:BB over 42.1 innings for Colorado in 2025, but Atlanta believes it can coax better results out of the 2018 first-round pick.

The Dodgers selected Kopp's contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Kopp received a promotion to Triple-A in early July, after which he turned in a 4.56 ERA and 1.71 WHIP with a 41:20 K:BB across 25.2 innings. The 23-year-old's addition to the 40-man roster will prevent the Dodgers from losing him during the Rule 5 Draft, but he is likely to return to the minors once the 2026 campaign begins.

The Diamondbacks designated Henry (elbow) for assignment Tuesday.

Henry is slated to miss most, if not all, of the 2026 campaign after undergoing Tommy John surgery in June. His lengthy expected absence makes it unlikely that another team will be willing to pick him up off waivers, so the D-backs will take the opportunity to remove the injured lefty from their 40-man roster while protecting four prospects from the Rule 5 Draft.

The Rockies designated Rolison for assignment Tuesday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Rolison was a first-round pick (22nd overall) in the 2018 First-Year Player Draft, but he hasn't been able to perform to that pedigree. The lefty had been buried in the minors until last season, when he got into 31 games with Colorado and pitched to an ugly 7.02 ERA and 1.77 WHIP over 42.1 innings. Rolison's 25:20 K:BB paints a pretty clear picture of how much he struggled to get big-league batters out, and the Rockies now appear set to move on.

The Rockies selected Herrera's contract from Double-A Hartford on Tuesday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Herrera is a lefty hurler who advanced to Double-A for the first time last season. Over 37 relief appearances at that level, he posted a 70:19 K:BB over 46.1 innings along with a 3.69 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. Herrera notched a combined 16 saves between High-A and Double-A in 2025, and the Rockies may be eyeing him as a future closer at the major-league level.

The Red Sox traded Bernardino (lat) to Colorado on Tuesday in exchange for Braiden Ward, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Bernardino enjoyed a strong 2025 season with Boston, posting a 3.14 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 43:26 K:BB over 51.2 innings while notching one save and two holds. The southpaw ended the campaign on the IL due to a strained lat, but there's no reason at this point to think that the injury will affect his availability for the start of spring training. Bernardino should immediately become a key member of a Rockies bullpen that ranked second-to-last in the majors with a 5.18 ERA last year.

The Cardinals designated Alcala for assignment Tuesday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Alcala struggled to find his footing on the mound in 2025, finishing the regular season with a 6.22 ERA and 1.75 WHIP across 55 total innings between Minnesota, Boston and St. Louis. He'll have the right to elect free agency if he clears waivers, although he will likely have to settle for a minor-league deal if he does so.
