Clippers' Nicolas Batum: Will play in season opener

Batum (rest) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's season opener against the Jazz.

Batum sat out the preseason finale for rest purposes. He'll be available to play in the regular-season opener, but it remains to be seen how big his role will be and how that impacts his fantasy value.
