Fantasy Basketball Week 20: Who's hot, who's not, and an undervalued trade target for Friday
Studs and a dud from Thursday with one priority trade target ahead of the weekend

Do-it-all guards dominated Thursday's NBA slate. Point guards secured the top four spots on the DraftKings leaderboard and they all stuffed the stat sheet across the board. Four of the 10 most productive Fantasy players this season are point guards, and we'll highlight a trio of them that's heating up before pointing out a dud and a trade target for Week 20.
Who's hot
Doncic won Western Conference Player of the Month in February and is off to a strong start in March. The Mavericks star flirted with a 41-point triple-double in his team's win over the Warriors on Thursday. Doncic amassed 41 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists on 15-of-26 shooting. Whether he can will the Mavericks to a fourth-consecutive win remains to be seen.
The league's third-leading assist man's scoring has been just as impressive as his passing since the All-Star break. Young's tallied three double-doubles in his last four games while averaging 31.3 points, 10 assists, and 3.0 rebounds on 51.2 percent shooting. He'll wrap up Week 20 with a tantalizing home matchup against the Wizards. While Young's numbers against Washington haven't been great this season, he's tallied 31.8 points and 9.4 rebounds per contest in his previous 10 outings at State Farm Arena.
Thursday's most surprising performance came from Jackson. The Clippers point guard was on fire throughout his team's convincing win against the Lakers. He finished with 36 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists on 14-of-30 shooting. Jackson's post All-Star break averages sit at 24 points, 6.8 assists, and 6.5 rebounds per contest through four games.
Who's not
Drummond is starting to cool off after averaging 14 points and nine rebounds in his first two games after the All-Star break. The Nets center has tallied just 11 points and nine rebounds in 36 minutes over his previous two appearances with Brooklyn. It appears like he could lose his starting role to LaMarcus Aldridge from time to time, and Kevin Durant's return could cut into his scoring and rebounding impact. Drummond will be valuable when the Nets' frontcourt is banged up, but they're awfully healthy right now.
A player to buy
Smith has flown under the radar for the most part since Phoenix sent him to Indiana. However, he's quickly become a quality impact player off the bench. He's appeared in eight games for the Pacers while averaging 13 points and eight rebounds. Clint Capela might be just outside the top 10 in the season-long standings among centers, but he's averaged just 10.9 points and 8.2 rebounds over the last two months. Getting a role-player on the rise could be huge for some fantasy managers seeking frontcourt depth. Smith could prove to be a worthwhile pivot from the more popular Isaiah Jackson.
