  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Good to go Tuesday

Jackson (Achilles) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Bulls, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports. Jackson has been upgraded from questionable to available Tuesday after missing the previous game with right Achilles soreness. His return will likely result in reduced minutes for Jason Preston.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Questionable Tuesday

Jackson (Achilles) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Chicago, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Jackson missed Sunday's tilt with right Achilles soreness and his Tuesday status remains up in the air. With John Wall (abdomen) sidelined, Jason Preston could be in line for backup point guard run if Jackson doesn't play.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Ruled out

Jackson (Achilles) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers. Jackson left Saturday's matchup against Atlanta early with right Achilles soreness and will miss at least one additional contest. He joins Marcus Morris (ribs), Paul George (knee) and Kawhi Leonard (knee) on the sidelines Sunday, so the Clippers will have a makeshift starting lineup against Cleveland.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Questionable Sunday

Jackson is questionable for Sunday's game at Cleveland due to right Achilles soreness, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. Jackson headed to the locker room with an injury during Saturday's matchup with Atlanta and eventually returned to the court, but he's apparently not fully clear of the issue. The 32-year-old will likely have an increased role Sunday, if available, since Paul George (knee) and Kawhi Leonard (knee) are sitting out.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Returns Saturday

Jackson (undisclosed) returned in the third quarter of Saturday's matchup against the Hawks, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. It appears Jackson was dealing with a minor issue. However, he may land on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers, given that it's a back-to-back.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Heads to locker room

Jackson went to the locker room during the second quarter of Saturday's game at Atlanta, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. It's not clear why Jackson needed to go to the locker room. He should be considered questionable to return.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Provides scoring burst off bench

Jackson finished with 19 points (7-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists and three rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 133-115 win over the Lakers. Though some of his offensive production came late in the contest during garbage time, Jackson is nonetheless beginning to stake a claim into some of starting point guard Terance Mann's minutes. The two players have had a roughly even split of the playing time over the past four games, with Jackson averaging 21 minutes to Mann's 22.8. Jackson has reached double figures in scoring in each of those contests while converting on 44.2 percent of his field-goal attempts and 45.5 percent of his three-point tries.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Good to go Wednesday

Jackson (back) isn't among the players listed on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game versus the Jazz. Jackson is set to retake his spot in the rotation Wednesday despite back tightness limiting him to just 14 minutes Tuesday. With Paul George (hamstring), Luke Kennard (calf), Kawhi Leonard (rest) and more sitting out, Jackson could be in line for a heavier workload than he's handled recently, assuming his back holds up.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Dealing with back tightness

Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said Jackson was limited to 14 minutes in Tuesday's 120-110 loss to the 76ers after his back tightened up during the contest, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. Jackson finished with seven points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt), four assists, one rebound and one steal. Since re-entering the rotation over the weekend after backup point guard John Wall was shut down with an abdominal injury, Jackson has played 15 and 14 minutes in his two appearances with L.A. as the understudy to newly installed starter Terance Mann. Even if the back injury hadn't surfaced, Jackson likely wasn't in store for much more playing time than he received, but if he's able to play through the issue Wednesday against the Jazz, Lue could look for the veteran guard to absorb more minutes. Paul George (hamstring) has already been ruled out for the second half of the back-to-back set and Kawhi Leonard is likely to rest as well, leaving plenty of playing time up for grabs on the wing. Mann could end up seeing more work off the ball as a result, opening up more run at point guard for Jackson.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Reclaims rotation spot

Head coach Tyronn Lue said that Jackson will step in as the Clippers' backup point guard behind starter Terance Mann beginning with Sunday's game against the Rockets with John Wall (abdomen) sidelined for at least the next two weeks, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. After starting in each of his first 38 appearances of the season, Jackson was dropped from the top unit in favor of Mann a week ago and has logged just eight total minutes while coming off the bench for the past three contests. Though he'll continue to work in a reserve role, Jackson will at least reclaim a rotation spot now that Wall is likely sidelined until at least the early part of February. Expect Mann to continue to dominate the playing time at the position, rendering Jackson little more than a deep-league entity while he presumably handles a role that vacillates between 15 and 25 minutes per game.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Moves to bench

Jackson isn't in the starting lineup for Sunday's game versus the Hawks, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. Kawhi Leonard's return and Nicolas Batum's insertion into the starting lineup will send Jackson to the bench. The veteran point guard had started all 38 of his appearances prior to Sunday, posting 11.6 points on 41.5 percent shooting across 28.1 minutes.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Available Saturday

Jackson (Achilles) is available for Saturday's game against the Pacers, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports. Jackson has appeared in the last five matchups, and he's averaged 11.2 points and 2.6 assists in 24.2 minutes per game during that time. He was questionable ahead of Saturday's game but will be able to play through his sore left Achilles.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Questionable Saturday

Jackson is listed as questionable for Saturday's tilt against the Pacers due to left Achilles soreness. Jackson has already missed two games in December due to lingering pain in his left Achilles and is iffy for Saturday's contest. He has logged 25 or fewer minutes in four of his last five games while averaging 11.2 points across that span. If Jackson were to miss, John Wall would likely enter the starting lineup and Terance Mann could see an expanded role.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Shines as scorer against TOR

Jackson contributed 20 points (9-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt), one rebound and three assists over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 124-113 win over the Raptors. Jackson reached the 20-point mark for the second time in December, but he plays a secondary role in an offense that's regularly carried by Kawhi Leonard and/or Paul George. As such, Jackson can't be relied upon to deliver strong scoring numbers on a regular basis. He's averaging 11.9 points per game while shooting 39.4 percent from the field over his past 10 appearances.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Quiet in Wednesday's return

Jackson posted 10 points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal over 22 minutes during Wednesday's 126-105 victory over the Hornets. Jackson was back in action after missing the past two games with an Achilles issue, sliding straight back into the starting lineup. Despite his relatively consistent role, Jackson is unlikely to be anything more than a situational streamer given the Clippers are now running at close to full strength.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Good to go Wednesday

Jackson (Achilles) is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup with Charlotte, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports. Jackson will replace John Wall in the starting lineup after missing the last two games with an Achilles injury. However, the veteran point guard will be on a minutes restriction.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Questionable Wednesday

Jackson (Achilles) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hornets, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Jackson has missed the past two games with a lingering Achilles injury. However, the veteran returned to practice Tuesday, which makes a return to action imminent.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Will practice Tuesday

Jackson (Achilles) is slated to participate in a contact 5-on-5 practice Tuesday, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports. Jackson's appearance in practice seemingly suggests he's closing in on a return to the floor following a two-game absence. More clarity on his status for Wednesday should surface once the Clippers release their injury report.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Ruled out Saturday

Jackson (Achilles) will not play in Saturday's game versus the Wizards, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. Jackson will miss his second consecutive game while tending to his Achilles issue. John Wall is set to start at point guard again in his place, while Jackson will turn to Wednesday versus the Hornets for his next chance to play.

  • Clippers' Reggie Jackson: Listed as questionable

Jackson (Achilles) is questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Wizards, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. Jackson has missed back-to-back games due to left Achilles inflammation and is in jeopardy of missing a third. If he's sidelined again, John Wall should start at point guard, while Terance Mann should see a sizable role off the bench.
