Jameer Nelson: Waived by Sacramento

The Kings waived Nelson on Sunday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Nelson signed an Exhibit 10 contract Saturday, but he will ultimately be waived. His rights will be retained by Sacramento's G League affiliate. In 42 games with the Austin Spurs last season, Nelson averaged 10.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.3 steals per contest.
