Lakers' Marcus Smart: Ruled out for Monday

Smart (quadriceps) will not play Monday against Portland, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports.

Smart is dealing with a right quadriceps contusion that he picked up Sunday against the Kings. The Lakers are already very shorthanded, leaving Austin Reaves to absorb a ton of usage. Dalton Knecht could be more involved in Monday's game with so much offensive firepower on the shelf.
