Lakers' Marcus Smart: Won't play Wednesday

Smart (rest) has been ruled out for Wednesday's preseason game against the Mavericks, NBA reporter Jovan Buha reports.

Smart is among many notable players for his squad that will not suit up. The next chance for the veteran guard to get back on the floor will be the team's preseason finale against the Kings on Friday.
