Malcolm Hill: Cut by New Orleans

The Pelicans waived Hill on Monday.

Hill was entering his second season on a two-way contract with the Pelicans, but New Orleans will part ways with the forward in order to open up a spot for another player. The 28-year-old didn't see any action with the Pelicans after signing a 10-day deal in January and then a two-way deal in February, but he made a total of 24 NBA appearances between the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons with the Hawks and Bulls.
