Matt Ryan: Let go by New York

The Knicks waived Ryan on Sunday.

The move makes room on the Knicks' 15-man roster for Landry Shamet, who signed a one-year contract Sunday. Ryan saw sparse playing time off New York's bench this season, averaging just 5.0 minutes per game over nine appearances.
