Head coach Dusty May said Cisse (ankle) didn't practice Thursday as a precaution but added that the big man "would've been able to play" if there was a game, Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Cisse sprained his left ankle in Wednesday's loss to the Pelicans and could sit out Friday's preseason finale against the Hawks as a precautionary measure. Even if he doesn't play Friday, it appears Cisse is trending toward being available for Wednesday's regular-season opener against Houston.
