Nets' Kyrie Irving: May not play Thursday

Irving (personal) didn't practice Wednesday and may not play in Thursday's preseason contest against the Heat, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.

Per Friedell, Irving and his wife welcomed a new baby Tuesday, so the point guard may take the next couple of days off before returning to basketball activities. After Thursday's contest, the Nets have two more remaining preseason contests before they open the regular season against the Pelicans on Oct. 19.
