Head coach Rick Carlisle said Friday that Sheppard is without a timetable to return due to a left meniscus injury, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Sheppard sustained the knee injury in Wednesday's season-opening win over New Orleans and can be considered week-to-week until the Pacers provide an update on his progress. Quenton Jackson and Jarace Walker are candidates for increased playing time with Sheppard on the sidelines.
