The Rockets recalled Nix from the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Monday, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Nix made the trip to Charlotte and will be available for the Rockets' game against the Hornets, though he's not guaranteed to be included in head coach Stephen Silas' rotation. The undrafted rookie has made one two-minute appearance at the NBA level this season.
