Green agreed Friday to join the Warriors' staff as an assistant coach for the upcoming season, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.
This officially signals the end of Green's playing career, which lasted 12 seasons and included stints with the 76ers, Pelicans, Hawks, Clippers and Magic. After suiting up in 52 games in 2014-15, Green didn't play anywhere last season, wrapping up his career with averages of 8.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game over 731 regular-season appearances.
