Dinwiddie closed Thursday's 124-117 victory over New York with 21 points (7-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-10 FT), seven rebounds, 12 assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes.
Playing without Bradley Beal (COVID-19 protocols), the Wizards turned to Dinwiddie as the primary offensive engine, and he lived up to the billing, notching his fifth double-double of the season and his first since Dec. 1. With Beal set to miss the next few games, Dinwiddie should be in line for increased usage, and the Wizards don't play their next back-to-back until mid-January.
