Bryant (knee) has progressed to athletic and explosive workouts, freelance NBA reporter Quinton Mayo reports.
Bryant is still slated to miss the start of the 2021-22 season, but he's clearly not too far away from getting back into close-to-full-speed basketball. The video of Bryant's progress shows him making quick lateral bounds and jumping after catching a medicine ball. Montrezl Harrell and Daniel Gafford should see most, if not all, of the center minutes to start the season. However, once Bryant is cleared to play, the rotation will get more complicated.
