Bogdanovic is scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery on his right wrist in the near future Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Bogdanovic wasn't known to have been dealing with any injury prior to the NBA suspending its season in mid-March, but the forward has apparently been dealing with pain and discomfort in his right wrist since January, and it's only worsened in the months that have passed. The implication, of course, is that Bogdanovic wouldn't be available for the Jazz if the 2019-20 season resumes later this year in some form, though Utah expects him to be ready for the start of the 2020-21 campaign. In his first season with the Jazz, Bogdanovic appeared in 63 of the team's 64 games, averaging a career-best 20.2 points to go with 4.1 rebounds, 3.0 treys and 2.1 assists.
Bogdanovic posted five points (2-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two assists and one rebound across 24 minutes during Monday's 101-92 loss to the Raptors. Bogdanovic has been boom or bust lately, carrying or tanking plenty of DFS lineups. Monday's effort was the third time in seven games that Bogdanovic has scored in single digits, though he's still managed to average 17.1 points on 43.6 percent shooting across this stretch.
Bogdanovic put up 32 points (12-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT) to go with five rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes Saturday in the Jazz's 111-105 win over the Pistons. Bogdanovic finished just three points shy of a season high in what was an encouraging bounce-back effort after the Celtics held him to just eight points on 2-for-9 shooting in the front end of the back-to-back set. The sharp-shooting forward has topped the 20-point mark four times in his last five outings, converting at 48.7/90.7/42.1 percent shooting splits from the field, free-throw line and three-point range during that stretch.
Bogdanovic posted eight points (2-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Friday's 99-94 loss to the Celtics. Bogdanovic had one of his worst outings of the season Saturday, hitting fewer than 30 percent of his shots from the field and committing five turnovers to one assist. It hasn't been particularly smooth goings for Bogdanovic lately. Over the past seven games, he's shooting just 38.6 percent from the field and 31.1 percent from beyond the arc and has racked up more turnovers than dimes.
Bogdanovic scored a team-high 28 points (10-19 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding seven rebounds, six assists and a steal in 34 minutes during Monday's 126-113 win over the Cavaliers. Facing a depleted Cleveland roster, Bogdanovic had little trouble getting his shot off, as he posted his best offensive performance since dropping 30 on the Rockets back on Jan. 27. The 30-year-old is locked in from long range at the moment, having shot 9-for-19 on three-pointers over the last two games.
