  • Clippers' Gradey Dick: Returning to bench Wednesday

Dick won't start in Wednesday's game against Miami, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Dick started in Monday's 125-118 loss to Toronto, finishing with 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. However, with Rui Hachimura (quadriceps) back in the lineup, Dick will return to the bench.

  • Clippers' Gradey Dick: Strong outing in loss

Dick racked up 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 29 minutes during Monday's 125-118 loss to Toronto. Dick contributed across several categories against his former team, though he attempted just one three-pointer and failed to connect from beyond the arc. The 22-year-old has secured a starting role with the Clippers, but his fantasy upside remains tied to his perimeter shooting and offensive involvement. His two steals helped offset a relatively modest scoring performance.

  • Clippers' Gradey Dick: Entering starting five

Dick will start Monday's game against the Raptors, NBA writer Justin Russo reports. Dick will get the nod at small forward due to Derrick Jones (knee) sitting out Monday. Dick got off to a strong start this season by dropping 12 points in the opener against the Kings, but he's been held to single digits in the scoring column in five games since.

  • Clippers' Gradey Dick: Reaches double figures in scoring

Dick closed Wednesday's 121-96 win over Sacramento with 12 points (3-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds and one block across 19 minutes. With the rebuilding Clippers dealing with several injuries already, Dick stitched up an Opening Night rotation spot. A 2023 first-rounder, Dick remains worth monitoring on waiver wires until his role becomes more solidified.

  • Clippers' Gradey Dick: Fighting for reserve role

Dick amassed eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two steals and four assists over 19 minutes in Wednesday's 122-110 preseason win over the Nuggets. Dick could see extra opportunities to start the season while Brandon Ingram recovers from a partially torn Achilles. His chances of claiming an Opening Night role increased when the Clippers announced Wednesday that Bradley Beal (knee) won't be ready to begin the year.

  • Clippers' Gradey Dick: Could benefit from Ingram injury

Dick could see increased opportunities to begin the season while Brandon Ingram recovers from a partially torn Achilles and right heel surgery. Dick arrived in Los Angeles alongside Ingram in the Kawhi Leonard trade and will compete for minutes on a Clippers team currently thin on the wing. Ingram's absence gives Dick an opportunity to earn a consistent rotation role, though he'll still face competition for playing time.

  • Clippers' Gradey Dick: Trade to be finalized

The Clippers and Raptors mutually agreed Monday to complete the trade sending Leonard to Toronto in exchange for Brandon Ingram (heel), Gradey Dick, two unprotected first-round picks, one first-round pick swap and two second-rounders, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. The trade hit a snag in July when the league investigated Leonard and the Clippers for salary cap circumvention, but the deal is now official ahead of training camp. The 2023 first-rounder is searching for a fresh start in Los Angeles after averaging 6.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game across 76 regular-season appearances (one start) for the Raptors last year.

  • Clippers' Gradey Dick: Reportedly heading to Los Angeles

The Raptors are expected to send Dick, Brandon Ingram, two first-round picks, a first-round pick swap and two second-round picks to the Clippers on Tuesday in exchange for Kawhi Leonard, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. After a promising sophomore campaign, Dick took a major step back in Year 3 and will look for a fresh start with a change of scenery. The sharpshooter shot over 35 percent from three in each of his first two seasons but hit rock bottom in 2025-26, shooting 30.3 percent on 2.4 three-point attempts per game while playing only 14 minutes a night over 76 regular-season games. Dick will likely be competing with Kobe Sanders and Jordan Miller for reserve minutes in Los Angeles.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Ends disappointing third season

Dick did not see the floor during Sunday's 114-102 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. With Brandon Ingram (heel) joining the Raptors, Dick took a huge step back in 2025-26. Across 76 regular-season appearances, the third-year sharpshooter averaged a career-low 6.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 14.0 minutes per game. Dick is set to return to Toronto in 2026-27, but it's concerning that he wasn't able to move into a more prominent role despite Ingram's absence in Game 7.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Scores 11 points in win

Dick ended Sunday's 139-87 win over the Magic with 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes. Dick has been used sparingly in recent weeks, but he took advantage of some extra touches in this 52-point blowout win. Over his last six outings, he's averaging just 13.7 minutes per contest with 6.8 points, 1.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds on 40.0 percent shooting from the field.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Chips in 10 points Sunday

Dick registered 10 points (2-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 15 minutes during Sunday's 120-98 loss to Phoenix. The 2023 first-rounder has been part of Toronto's rotation for just two of the team's last five contests, implying he's not a major aspect of the mix for the time being. That said, Dick has an opportunity to remain in the lineup for Monday's matchup with the Jazz due to the absence of Immanuel Quickley (foot).

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Back in rotation, barely

Dick finished with zero points (0-1 FG) in one minute during Tuesday's 111-95 loss to the Knicks. Dick moved back into the rotation after sitting out the previous two games, albeit for one minute during garbage time. Outside of a handful of encouraging performances, Dick has been a letdown this season, averaging just 6.2 points in 15.5 minutes per contest.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Removed from rotation

Dick (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Wednesday in the Raptors' 110-107 loss to the Spurs. Dick had appeared in each of the Raptors' first 58 games of the season, but after he was held under 10 minutes in two of the previous three contests, he was dropped from the rotation entirely. Rather than sticking with Dick on the second unit, head coach Darko Rajakovic went with Jamison Battle (six minutes) as the 10th man in the rotation. While Dick's removal from the rotation could prove to be a short-term arrangement, the Raptors still aren't expected to make the third-year wing a major priority when the team is at full strength.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: First career double-double

Dick posted 21 points (9-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 115-101 victory over the Pacers. Dick came from nowhere, recording the first double-double of his career, taking advantage of a depleted roster. Toronto was without Immanuel Quickley (back), RJ Barrett (ankle), Sandro Mamukelashvili (illness) and Ja'Kobe Walter (hip), as well as Jakob Poeltl, who continues to deal with a back issue. While this was a great performance, there is no need to prioritize Dick as a pickup, unless health continues to be an issue for others around him.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Scores 11 off bench

Dick produced 11 points (4-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and two steals across 18 minutes during Monday's 118-100 win over the Hawks. Dick continues to be used sparingly by the Raptors, making him a hit-or-miss fantasy asset in very deep formats. Over his last seven games, he's seen 15.1 minutes per night with 6.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 0.7 three-pointers on 43.8 percent shooting from the field.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Puts up 10 off bench in win

Dick totaled 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds and two steals in 15 minutes during Monday's 106-96 victory over Miami. Dick bounced back from his last two scoreless appearances to reach double digits in points for just the eighth time this season, which included him breaking a three-game dry spell from beyond the arc. On the season, Dick averages 6.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.1 blocks and 0.9 threes across 15.8 minutes.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Flops again in loss

Dick posted zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound across eight minutes during Tuesday's 117-101 loss to the Knicks. Dick failed to score for the second straight game, another in a string of disappointing performances. After carving out a serviceable role for himself last season, Dick has been a non-factor thus far, averaging 6.3 points and 0.9 three-pointers in 15.8 minutes per game. He can be ignored in all but deeper leagues.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Another limp performance Friday

Dick notched four points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal in 21 minutes during Friday's 111-86 loss to the Hornets. Dick continues to be used sparingly, resulting in poor production across the board. He has scored double digits only six times thus far this season, averaging 6.8 points and 1.0 three-pointers in 16.4 minutes per contest. At this stage, he would need a lot of luck to force his way into a sizable role.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Absent from injury report

Dick (head) is not listed on Friday's injury report and is on track to be available for Saturday's game against the Hornets. Dick sustained a head injury during the Raptors' win over the Pacers on Wednesday. The injury doesn't appear to be a serious issue for the third-year forward, and he should be available to play in the first leg of the Raptors' back-to-back set Saturday. Across 13 games since Nov. 2, Dick has averaged 6.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 1.1 threes and 0.8 steals over 16.8 minutes per game.

  • Raptors' Gradey Dick: Heads to locker room

Dick went back to the locker room during Wednesday's game against Indiana after a hard fall, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.careports. Dick took a hard fall while pursuing an offensive rebound, and according to Tony East of Forbes.com, Dick hit his head on the floor. The young wing stayed in the game briefly before departing and heading back to the locker room. Jamison Battle and Ochai Agbaji could see additional minutes while Dick is sidelined.
