2018 CBSSports.com Pick Six Contest
Welcome to the 2018 CBSSports.com Pick Six Contest (the "Challenge"), where you compete against other participants to see who can correctly predict the outcomes of selected National Football League ("NFL") games. The Challenge starts December 18, 2018 and ends February 3, 2019 (the "Challenge Period"). By signing up for the Challenge, you agree that CBS Interactive ("CBSI") can send you, via email, the Pick Six podcast newsletter. There is no charge for receiving the Pick Six podcast newsletter and you may unsubscribe at any time.
The Challenge is FREE to play. No purchase, wireless device or entry fee necessary to enter or win. If you are accessing this Challenge via your wireless device, data rates may apply.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS CONTEST IS SUBJECT TO BINDING ARBITRATION AND A WAIVER OF CLASS ACTION RIGHTS AS DETAILED BELOW.
CBSI will serve as the administrator (the "Administrator") of the Challenge and will be responsible for resolving any disputes that arise regarding violations of the rules.
The Challenge is open to persons who are: (a) Registered Users (as defined below); (b) legal permanent residents of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) and (c) at least eighteen (18) years old or age of majority, whichever is older in state of residence, at the date of registration in the Challenge. For purposes of clarity, persons who reside in Puerto Rico are expressly excluded from this Challenge. Void where prohibited by law.
For purposes of these Official Rules, "Registered User" means a person who has successfully completed the registration form and has obtained a user identification ("ID") and associated password ("Password") on one of the CBSI network of websites, which currently includes CBSSports.com and/or SportsLine.com.
If you are not a Registered User, you may become a Registered User and obtain an ID and a Password by completing the CBSSports.com registration form. There is no fee or charge to become a Registered User.
Registered Users can sign up any time, during the Challenge Period, by visiting the CBSSports.com Challenge page accessible at http://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/games/football/playoff-pickem-pool (the "CBSI Site") and follow the onscreen instructions in order to enter. To enter the Challenge, participant will have to provide their personal information and their pick(s) of the NFL team(s) they predict will win their applicable NFL game match-up. Particpants may only enter the Challenge once. By signing up for the Challenge, you agree that CBSI can send you, via your registered email address, the Pick Six podcast newsletter.
The Challenge will run for four weeks of the NFL playoffs. The Administrator will list all the scheduled NFL games on the CBSI Site for each weekly period ("Round"). You must pick the team you predict will win each game and assign a confidence value to your pick(s). Additionally, you will need to provide a predicted final winning score for the one game in the final period. This predicted final winning score will be used as a Challenge tiebreaker (as explained below), if applicable. You do not need to participate in all Rounds nor do you need to make picks for every game listed as "available" at the time you enter to submit your picks in the Challenge.
Participants will receive points for each correct selection based on the number of confidence points assigned to each selection. Confidence points vary by Round in accordance with the table below:
