The 49ers drafted rookie running back Kelvin Taylor in the sixth round of the NFL Draft from Florida, and he's expected to compete for a reserve role this season. Taylor, the son of former NFL standout Fred Taylor, started one season for the Gators in 2015 and finished with 259 carries for 1,035 yards and 13 touchdowns and 17 catches for 150 yards. Carlos Hyde enters the season as the starter in San Francisco, but the running backs behind him aren't great with Mike Davis, Shaun Draughn and DuJuan Harris. Taylor could play a role as a rookie, but he's not worth drafting in the majority of leagues and is only worth a late-round flier at best in deep rookie-only formats.
