The Rams DST took a step back in 2016 and finished No. 21 in Fantasy points after a No. 10 finish in 2015. This year, the Rams DST should improve with new defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who had a big hand in helping the Broncos DST dominate in recent years. Phillips has good players to work with in Aaron Donald, Robert Quinn, Alec Ogletree and Trumaine Johnson, but the entire defense needs to improve after it had just 10 interceptions, 31 sacks, eight fumble recoveries, one DST touchdown and allowed opponents to score 394 points. We expect the Rams DST to rebound and play better this year under Phillips, and it is worth drafting with a late-round pick in the majority of leagues.
