Patton cleared waivers Sunday and signed with the Cardinals' practice squad, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Patton garnered a consistent snap count with the Chargers last season but was waived by the team to begin training camp. He couldn't make the 53-man roster in Arizona, either, so he'll join A.J. Richardson and JoJo Ward as the team's practice squad receivers.
