Anthony Rush: Let go Thursday

The Falcons waived Rush on Thursday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Rush was dropped by Atlanta after re-signing with the team on a one-year contract this offseason. The 350-pound nose tackle recorded seven tackles over 82 defensive snaps through the first four weeks of the season, and he'll look to land a roster spot with a new squad in need of depth on the interior defensive line.
